An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Mortuary based Biomedical Assistant to join our hardworking, friendly team.
The hours will be 20hrs per week - Monday to Friday 8:00am until 12.00pm
This will be primarily based at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust however the successful candidate will be expected to work across sites as and when required.
The department, as part of the Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services currently, provides a service that deals both Hospital and Community deaths in the Warwickshire and West Midlands region.
The service provides staff for three the mortuaries in Coventry and Warwick and current carries out hospital, Coronial, high risk, and forensic post mortem examinations, the successful applicant will be expected to work at the Coventry, Warwick, and Rugby Hospitals.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake duties in support of the technical staff in order to assist in the day to day provision of an efficient service that is in accordance with Trust, Coroner’s, Department of Health regulations and HTA requirements.
The candidate will need the ability to deal with the occasional distressing situation. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and telephone manner and possess basic computer skills.
