Do you want to be at the cutting edge of healthcare innovation and play a role in implementing a better way of doing things for your Coventry and Warwickshire geography? Do you have the skills to influence a range of stakeholders to adopt a new way of delivering care so that the population and the organisation benefit? If so, the WMAHSN STP Implementation role may be what you have been waiting for.
The Coventry and Warwickshire STP was established in 2016. It is a key component of the NHS England drive for health and social care systems to work together to enact the change needed to provide local citizens with ‘better health and better care’. Also key is ensuring better value by driving efficiencies to enable the ‘£’ to go further across our health and social care economy.
The successful candidate will have key responsibility to translate new innovations into practical solutions to support service redesign and capability building within the STP programmes. They will be a key change agent for the STP working closely with the clinicians, senior managers and staff to spread knowledge and understanding of new transformational techniques and ideas to enable continuous improvements.
The successful candidate will actively contribute specifically to the delivery of the Digital Transformation Programme and provide professional programme and project support to drive the innovation agenda as per the Senior Responsible Owners (SRO) request.
The WMAHSN Implementation Leads, embedded at an STP level, will have a strong grasp of the innovation and adoption agenda, along with further knowledge of the INNs’ subject matter (Nine INNs – Innovation and economic growth, Innovation exchange, Medicines optimisation, MedTech, Digital and artificial intelligence, Patient safety, Quality improvement, Research and Genomics, advanced diagnostics and personalised medicine) and will be supported with tools and resources, a peer network and professional development opportunities, resulting in transferable knowledge at an organisational and STP level.
The role is a 12-month fixed term contract. Employees of partner organisations (listed below) are welcome to apply on a secondment basis with the prior support of their line manager and inline with their organisations secondment policy. Please note, applications for secondment will not proceed to interview stage until agreement to release is confirmed by your current line manager / organisation.
