Applications are warmly invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow- Gynaecological Oncology and laparoscopic surgery at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust to commence as soon as possible.

This post is for a fixed-term of 12 months with the possibility of extending to 24 months. This is a suitable position for senior trainees hoping to enhance their exposure and experience in the specialist areas.

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire is one of the UK’s leading specialist teaching hospitals, providing world-class healthcare to a population of over 1,000,000. A designated Major Trauma Centre in the West Midlands, we offer state state-of-the-art facilities offering major advances in patient care, clinical teaching and innovation. The Trust employees more than 6,500 staff and has 1250 inpatient beds across its two sites, University Hospital, Coventry and the Hospital of St. Cross, Rugby.

All Obstetrics and Gynaecology inpatient activity is delivered at University Hospital site in Coventry with outpatient activity being delivered across both hospital sites. The gynae-oncology department offer outpatient services which include vulval clinics, colposcopy clinics and Two Week Wait clinics. The successful post holder will be based at University Hospital, Coventry working within the gynaecological oncology multi-disciplinary team.

The Trust is one of the largest in the UK and University Hospital is the main clinical teaching hospital for Warwick University Medical School.
