An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Clinical Fellow within our Plastic Surgery department. The post is aimed at junior Doctors (ST2) seeking increased exposure to Plastics and Hand Surgery, through post-operative patient care management as well as supporting in both clinics and theatres.
The post holder will actively be involved with audits and will be encouraged to take on extra responsibilities such as teaching junior staff within the department. Links to research can also be made. The role will support a 1:8 oncall rota that involves cross-cover with both ENT and MaxFax out of hours, which incurs and oncall banding.
UHCW is a major Trauma Centre for the UK and therefore there is great scope for professional development within the role.
This is a 1 year, fixed term contract.
