We provide general acute hospital services to approximately 500,000 people from Coventry and Rugby and specialist hospital services to over one million people from Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond. The Trust has a revenue budget of approximately £473 million, we employ 5,639 staff, manage 1,380 beds and 32 operating theatres.

The Trust is made up of the following hospitals:
University Hospital Coventry 
Hospital of St Cross – Rugby 

The Trust is looking to appoint Junior Clinical Fellows for both General Medicine and Surgical Specialties.  We offer a 12 month fixed terms posts which rotate within either Medicine or Surgery Specialities giving the post holder invaluable clinical experience across a number of departments. The posts will mirror UK junior doctor training with a rotational pattern of 4 or 6 months.  

We successfully recruited to this programme last year with a number of individuals gaining acceptance onto the national training programme this year with Health Education England (HEE). 

Therefore, building on this success we are looking to expand this programme for 2018/19.  The successful candidates will be provided with an opportunity to choose their rotations from a given selection. Clinical supervision will be provided across the year, with regular meetings to monitor achievement of PDP.
