We provide general acute hospital services to approximately 500,000 people from Coventry and Rugby and specialist hospital services to over one million people from Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond. The Trust has a revenue budget of approximately £473 million, we employ 5,639 staff, manage 1,380 beds and 32 operating theatres.

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting the user base in one of the leading Acute Hospitals in the country.

Skills required for the role, include:

• Excellent customer service skills both on the phone and face to face.
• Previous experience in IT/helpdesk role 2nd line/3rd line Desktop support
• Show previous experience working with Windows 7/8/10, Office and Active Directory.
• Strong problem-solving skills with driven, pro-active attitude.
• Support of mobile devices (Apple and Android) via an MDM solution.
• Deploying and running reports vis SCCM
• Knowledge of Citrix, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Jabber and deploying Virtual Desktop infrastructure.
• Wireless troubleshooting.
• First Line support of network calls.

As the trust is spread out over a number of different sites, a clean driving license is essential.

The post-holder will be required to provide support to users of ICT equipment with varying levels of IT knowledge.
