Are you interested in working to support the older adult in the community?
Are you motivated; a change maker and keen to be involved in a new initiative?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Band 6 Dietitian to work in partnership with University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and the charity Groundworks West Midlands on a project that has been funded by the National Lottery for 3 years.
The aim of the initiative is to support vulnerable and isolated people over the age of 55 in the community within Coventry through the development of the cook together eat together programme. The work will include development and support of this programme, training and education of community services and facilitators as well as supporting the nutritional needs of this population.
You will be based in the Coventry community and will be fully supported within our large, friendly, forward thinking and progressive Dietetic department.
The whole department is actively involved in student training and committed to CPD. As a member of the dietetic team you will take an active part in the provision of training programmes for A, B and C Dietetic Students.
Recruiting to Values
To ensure that we provide world-class patient care, UHCW recruits people that can demonstrate the Trust’s Values and Behaviours in their everyday life. Before applying, we encourage you to review the Trust’s Values and Behaviours Framework and Values Based Recruitment Factsheet which can be accessed on the right side of this page under the job description.
The Supporting Information Section in your application should therefore reflect your understanding of the Trust’s Values and associated Behaviours. You will be expected to provide us with examples from work experience and/or personal life which demonstrate these values through your behaviour.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
