Applications are invited for the post of full time Consultant Cardiologist with specialist interest in Electrophysiology and Complex Devices. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed colleague to join our rapidly expanding and evolving department. The Cardiology Department sits within the Cardio-Thoracic Group, which includes the Departments of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Respiratory and Infectious Diseases.

We provide a comprehensive Electrophysiology service for both standard and complex arrhythmia, including complex atrial and ventricular ablation using 3D mapping systems (Precision, Carto) and day-case cryo-ablation for PVI. We currently perform ~600 EP cases per year but are rapidly expanding. We have a full complex devices service implanting ~150 CRT/ICDs last year and provide a full device extraction service to patients in Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.
The hospital is in an excellent location, surrounded by attractive countryside with market towns and villages within easy commuting distance, and an excellent choice of local schools. We are only 15 miles from Europe’s fastest growing international airport and there are excellent rail and road links to destinations throughout the UK.
